What our vehicle inspectors say

Dustin

Senior Vehicle Inspector Region West

I quickly realised that the monotonous processes in the workshop don't challenge me; it's important to me to have a varied working day. In my position as Vehicle Inspector, I have the opportunity to plan my working day independently and work autonomously. The daily interaction with our customers is varied and exciting. Achieving my personal goals and exceeding the company's constantly growing targets pushes me every day.

Team Lead Vehicle Inspection Region South

I am a Vehicle Inspector at CarOnSale because I can perfectly combine my knowledge from the workshop with the convenience of field service. I also act as an interface to the dealership, which makes the job even more varied.

Vehicle Inspector Region North

I have played an important role in the company since my first day. Thanks to the short and direct lines of communication to my line manager, I get answers to every topic really quickly. My voice counts and I can make a big difference. The fantastic team and the great team events have also helped me to form friendships quickly. I was also surprised at how well equipped the company car is.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a vehicle inspection work?

Vehicle data, exterior condition, interior, and mechanical condition—everything is systematically inspected. Tools such as OBD scanners, paint thickness gauges, and tread depth gauges are used. All data is documented via smartphone and supplemented with photos. The result is the vehicle inspection report.

What does the working day look like?

Our colleagues in Dispatch will put together your schedule and vehicle lists. With this information, you’ll start your day, drive to your customers, and prepare the condition reports on site.

When do my working hours start?

You start your working day directly from home. The exact start depends on your appointments that day. However, our dealerships generally do not open before 8:30 a.m., so the earliest appointments usually start at this time.

What does onboarding look like?

The onboarding program consists of one week of theory and one week of hands-on training. You’ll get to know colleagues from across the company and be introduced right away to the work at the car dealerships.

Is there a company pension scheme?

Yes. CarOnSale contributes 20 percent toward the company pension plans of all employees. For more information, a no-obligation consultation is available.
